Rakshitha Ramraj Advances in Women’s Singles
India’s Rakshitha Ramraj also progressed to the quarterfinals after a dominant 21-15, 21-12 victory over Chinese Taipei’s Tung Ciou-tong. She will face Thailand’s Thamonwan Nithiittikrai in the next round.
Indian Men’s Doubles Pair Marches On
The men’s doubles pair of Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy and Sai Pratheek K advanced to the quarterfinals after beating Thailand’s Vichayapong Kanjanakeereewong and Narueset Laotherdpong 14-21, 21-10, 21-9. They will face Indonesia’s second seed, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Daniel Marthin.
Mixed Doubles Exit
Indian duo Rohan Kapoor and Ruthvika Gadde’s mixed doubles was eliminated when Thailand’s Ratchapol Makkasasithorn and Ruethaichanok Laisuan, 21-19, 21-15, were on the opposite side of their contest.
