Telangana Tunnel Collapse: Rescue Operation Goes On as CM Revanth Reddy Guarantees Search Party Will Reach Stranded Workers Within 2-3 Days

Hyderabad, March 3, 2025 – The search for eight workers who are still missing after being trapped in a tunnel collapse in Telangana is ongoing as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy guaranteed that rescue teams are exerting their efforts to reach the stranded workers within the next 2-3 days.

Incident Details

The tunnel, which is part of an ongoing irrigation project in Singareni, caved in late Sunday night, burying at least eight workers under the rubble. The reason for the collapse remains to be ascertained, but initial reports indicate structural weakness caused by heavy rains in the area.

Rescue teams, such as National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel, have been sent.
