Sriharikota, India– The Indian Space Research Organisation has achieved a milestone with the successful launch of the NVS-02 satellite, marking the 100th historic launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The landmark event testifies to the growing capabilities of India in the field of space technology and satellite navigation.
Importance of the NVS-02 Satellite
The NVS-02 space is one series of the Navigation with Indian Constellation, intended to give impetus toward the development of India’s Regional Satellite Navigation system. The constellation will provide critical high-performance positioning, navigation and timing services useful for both civil and strategic necessities and is launch via GSLV rocket.
