Royal Challengers Bengaluru Defeat Rajasthan Royals in Dashing High-Scoring Encounter

Bengaluru, April 24, 2025 — Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) continued their glorious run of form in IPL 2025 with a dashing 11-run victory against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium yesterday.

RCB, after choosing to bat first, accumulated an authoritative 205 for 5 from their mutually allotted 20 overs. The innings was spurred by an extraordinary innings of the top order, who with unhindered stream of stroke and astute thought partnership, continued to keep the scorecard moving. Their middle order added worthwhile runs to ensure RCB utilized the platform built during the start of the match.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals began their chase with intent, maintaining the pace with RCB in the majority of the innings. Although the RR batsmen fought hard, the RCB bowling attack remained calm during the death overs. RR were left at 194 for 9, one run short of the target.
